Head protection helmets offer protection and safety for users who are at high risk of falling.

We know that falls can be minor or have major consequences. Moreover, as they cannot be predicted, they cannot be controlled. What can be done is to try to mitigate the damage that may be caused.

In our previous post, we talked about hip protectors, also indicated to reduce the impact of a fall in the hip area. The hip is a very delicate area, which can be difficult to recover from in the event of injury.

The head is another very important and delicate area. The blow that can be caused by a fall can have very serious consequences.
Each one of us has fallen and will fall at some time. And even if we are careful on certain occasions, we are still at risk of suffering a blow.
But there are people with a higher risk, and they are those who, due to illness, are more likely to suffer a fall and with it, a blow to the head.

These are people with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, ataxia, spasticity, haemophilia or any disease that can affect balance. These types of illnesses mean that the person is not able to control their movements and is therefore unaware of the risk of hitting or falling.

For them, protection is of paramount importance. Mitigating the damage of a blow or fall has a positive impact on their quality of life. Head protection helmets help to reduce impacts to the head. They can be worn continuously or at certain times when the risk of a fall is higher.

And which head protection helmet to choose?

Well, it depends on the user and the use they are going to make of it. We present the different models we have available. They are grouped into traditional and stylish head protection helmets.
